Contemporary wrappers with the titles added in script. = This combination of one paper by the German palaeontologist Christian Erich Hermann von Meyer (1801-1869), and one by another famous German palaeontologist [Carl] Ferdinand [von] Roemer (1818-1891), was originally published in Von Meyer's own palaeontological journal, simply titled Palaeontographica. The plate of the new crocodile was drawn by Von Meyer himself. The paper by Roemer deals with a new cuttlefish, not a belemnite as one might expect. Uncut.
