Large 4to (34.9 x 27.5 cm). 112 pp., 11 tissue-guarded plates (six partly or wholy in chromolithography, of which one double-sized) with explanatory text leaves. Original printed wrappers. = A finely illustrated monograph with a new species. The work deals with crabs and hermit crabs. Well-illustrated. as many of the earlier publications of the Museum in Monaco this one is very uncommon. Uncut. Printed cover with an old stamp, partly torn along the edges, spine split, but otherwise a very good clean copy. The coloured plates - by Huët and Borrel - are magnificent.
