Published in the academy's Denkschriften, but this is the rare offprint, with its own printed wrappers. August Emanual [Ritter von] Reuss (1811-1873) was an Austrian palaeontologist who is best known from his works on Cretaceous fossil invertebrates. This forms a major part. Uncut. Binding weak, wrapper edges chipped and rayed; rear wrapper missing. Slightly foxed, but less so than usual, and in all a much better than average copy. Nissen ZBI, 3375.
