Spine with four raised bands, and gilt title. Marbled endpapers. = George Ossian Sars (1837-1927) was the father of modern crustacean research. He described the Nordic fauna in 11 parts (not completed at his death), of which this is the second part and the only one devoted to the Isopoda. Several new species are described in this work. The plates, by the author, are very clear. Boards a bit rubbed, mainly at hinges. Otherwise a very good, complete and clean copy. Nissen ZBI, 3572 [pars].
