Original blind wrappers with later script title. = The French translation of Davidson's important work on fossil brachiopods, expanded by Laurent Guillaume de Koninck (1809-1887, author of the "Faune vcalacaire carbonifère de la Belgique" and many other palaeontological contributions), with his name written on the front wrapper, and with the nice small malacological/palaeontological book-plate of the French palaeontologist E. Bucaille, who wrote, e.g. on fossil Echinodermata. His book plate includes a sea urchin, a Spondylus and an ammonite. Small old stamp on froint wrapper, otherwise a very good, clean copy. Rare.
