Written by the Austrian geologist, mineralogist, palaeontologist and herpetologist Karl (or Carl) Ferdinand Peters (1825-1881). Two plates with some weak small spots, as usual, the large double-folded plate however, almost clean. In all a very good copy of this scarce work.
