Black endpapers. = Important monograph describing no less than 20 new genera and 167 new species. This is from the famous Challenger expedition reports, being Zoology volume V, part XIV. Library label on front pastedown and stamp on title; last 15 plates with a gradually weaker damp-stain in upper outer corner. Present in the original boards. A smaller paper on mammals, which is also part of volume five, has been removed. The work by Lyman is complete. Nissen ZBI, 2616, 4754.
