Early 20th century green buckram with gilt title on the spine. = Rare and important monograph on nematodes with very accurate plates, written by the German zoologist Friedrich Anton Schneider (1831-1890). It includes the descriptions and illustrations of new and poorly known species. Provenance: pictorial bookplate of the John Crear library mounted on the front pastedown; small perforated stamp on title and small library stamp on plate versos (not shinging through).
