Half title, thesis title, two titles to the parts, [iii] (dedication page and preface), xii (index), 325 pp.; one original photograph as frontispiece, and 159 plates, a few text figures. Full green cloth. Gilt title on spine. Original printed wrappers bound in; 4 pp. "Stellingen" (propositions) bound in after plate LX. = The author's thesis. Several bookdealers report different numbers of plates, however, it should be 159 plates, as in this copy. Also, apart from the 325 main text pages, there should be 12 index pages (published in 1933). The complete work was published over a four year's period in the herbarium's Mededelingen, as indicated on the spine. Some more smaller contributions by Henrard and others bound in the rear.
