Spine with gilt lines, gilt title. Marbled flyleaves. Red edges. = The seldom-seen first volume of two on gold mining in Siberia. The second volume, which is not present, deals with the Amur region, further east, and appears to be a bit more common. Published in the Recueil des Ouvrages sur la Sibérie, by V. Sabachnikoff. Two library stamps on title, one on half title, and first blank. Spine and boards with red tape and library label making the binding less attractive. Internally still in very good condition.
