Original printed wrappers. = Rare, well-illustrated work by the German zoologist Adolph Eduard Grube (1812-1880) on various Mediterranean marine invertebrates with several new species belonging to the Echinodermata (Asterias, Holothuria), Actiniden (sea anemones), and a large variety of "Wurmer". Dedicated by the author to "J. de Verany" [the French zoologist and malacologist Jean Baptiste Vérany (1800-1865)] on the cover.
