Slightly later half calf over marbled boards. Spine with five raised bands and gilt title. Marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt. = The same author of the "Great Plateau of Central Tibet". On the titlepage is also printed "London: Seeley, Service & Co. LTD", which probably means it was printed in London, but distributed in the USA by Lippincott in Philadelphia. With the armorial bookplate of Arthur Julian Moulton "Amore non vi". Light dampstain to frontispiece fore edge (photographic plate), otherwise a very good copy in a nice binding.
