Contemporary brown half cloth over marbled boards. Gilt title on the spine. = A complete, neatly bound set of this work, which was published over a long period in the Annales du Jardin botanique du Buitenzorg. The first part has a simple half title, and only from the contents it becomes clear that it consists of three separate parts. It deals mostly with Burmanniaceae. It includes the description and illustration of many new and rarely observed species. Two stamps including a bookshop's stamp on the first title page, fore edge of one plate with a small repair, otherwise a very good, clean copy. Complete copies are rare.
