Original printed wrappers. = Seldom-seen seminal work by the French priest and palaeontologist Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (1881-1955). In 1922 this publication became his thesis, which is very rare too. Uncut, with edges creased; wrappers with later paper cover, but again with tears; binding loose. Library stamp on title and first page, otherwise good: text and plates clean.
