Disbound. = A seldom-seen, nicely illustrated work, depicting eight different races of "boucs" and "chévres"; i.e., Angora goats from India, renowned for their wool. The author, Antoine Rémy Polonceau (1778-1847) is perhaps better known for his work as civil engineer, and in particular for designing and building steel bridges. A very good, clean and unmarked copy.
