Origional printed wrappers bound in. = A rare original edition by this great Austrian scolar on the Arabia also printed in the Denkschriften der philosophischen-historischen Classe der Kaiserlichen Akademie der Wissenschaften but "besonders abgedruckt". It deals quite a bit with names of animals such as "Zahme und Hausthiere, wilde und reissende Thiere, die Vögel, Gewürme und kriechende Thiere, Amphibien, Fische" but also "Aus dem Pflanzenreiche" (plant names)and the relation and meaning of these to naming their kinship. The text is in German and Arab. Marginal paper repair to one leaf. A very good copy.
