Original uniform blue wrappers with printed label on the spines. = Most probably the first and only Dutch translation of this fundamental German treatise on agriculture on a scientific basis and a stimulant for the Dutch agriculture during the 19th century. Prospectus bound in, in front of part I. A printed note, tipped in in volume III, states that the Dutch edition did not contain three plates from the original edition because of irrelevance to Dutch agriculture. Uncut. Some wear to the wrappers, spine cover of third volume more abraded, otherwise very good.
