Title: Systema Avium Australasianarum. A systematic list of the birds of the Australasian region. Prepared in conjunction with Special committees of the British and American Ornithologists' Unions. [AND] Part II. pp. 427-1048, with preface, etc., etc., pp. i-iv; issued July, 1930. [Complete].
Description: London, British Ornithological Union, [AND] Wheldon and Wesley (1927) [AND] Taylor and Francis, 1930. Thick 8vo (21.5 x 13.6 cm). 1062 pp. [x, 426; iv, 427-1048]. Later black buckram with gilt title on the spine. Original printed (second) front wrapper bound in. = A seldom-seen publication by the Australian ornithologist, Gregory Macalister Mathews (1876-1949), who also published the famous 12 volume Birds of Australia. This is the complete work, but for some odd reason the first (1927) volume is bound after the second. Otherwise a very good, clean copy. Cat. BM(NH) Supplement, p. 810.
