Original green, embossed cloth. Printed title on spie and front board. = A well-illustrated, scarce work. Many species are new. Written by the pharmacist and foremost Belgian botanist of the late 19th and early to mid-20th century, Émile Auguste Joseph de Wildeman (1866-1947) and the director of the Jardin Botanique de l'Etat (or Jardin Botanique Belgique) in Bruxelles, Théophile Alexis Durand (1855-1912).The fine lithographs are by the French illustrator and lithographer André Revillon d'Apreval (18..-1910). Several are larger, (double) folded. Ex library copy with stamp on title and printed regulations pasted on front free endpaper recto. On the front pastedown a notice that the book was a gift of the publisher. Boards a bit soiled, otherwise a very good copy. Nissen BBI, 2151.
