Spine with six raised, gilt-bordered bands and red morocco label with gilt title. = A rather rare monograph on mineral springs, its geological features, hydrography, the technology of drilling, etc. Written by the Austrian geologist Joseph Waldauf von Waldenstein (1779-18?). Plate 1 is bound after plates 2-3, and plate 4 (not numbered) is placed in front. The latter plate contains an interesting geological profile from Le Havre over Paris to Colmar. Apart from some light soiling and a few light spots a very good, clean copy. Ward and Carozzi, 2274.
