Uniform contemporary half cloth over marbled boards. Spines with gilt title. Floral endpapers. Marbled edges. = A rare and important flora of Greece, with detailed descriptions, and extensive synonymies. Written by an authority on Balkan floras, the Austrian botanist of Hungarian descent, Eugen von Halácsy - also known as Jeno Halácsy - (1842-1913). Provenance: a pictorial bookplate of a Czech school on the front pastedown, and its small, circular library stamp on title pages. Light rubbing to board edges, one spine cover a bit wavy, otherwise a very good, clean set. Stafleu and Cowan, 2272.
