Part of title-page cut out to remove a previous owner's name; paper replaced and repaired, not affecting text. Contemporary calf, repaired. ESTC T119321. The first English edition, also printed in 1753, the same year that the original French one was published, is quite common - ESTC identifies five in the British Isles and twelve in North America; ESTC identifies eight copies in the British Isles and only one in North America of the Dublin edition. Good.
