Book, 515pp hardback, full contemporary brown calf, gilt, rubbed, red edges, marbled end-papers printed in red and black, vignette to title page of face of Christ, one engraved plate of crucifixion, some contemporary signatures etc to front end paper, two tipped in blank scraps ?covering signatures to top and bottom margins of title page, later inscribed Charles Bodington, S. James Rectory, Wednesbury 1883 with gift inscription to Dean Savage of Lichfield 1917 on front end-paper, Bodington was a well-known black country Anglo-catholic priest. Good.
