Illustrated throughout with 562 plates, several of which are coloured, and hundreds more illustrations in the text. Including reproductions of works by anthony Vandyke Copley Fielding, John Frederick Lewis, Edward Duncan, and many others. In cream cloth bindings with paper-covered boards. Externally, sound, though with some marks and slight wear to the extremities. Bumping to the heads and tails of the spines. Slight loss to the cloth on volume XVI. Paper labels to the spines of five volumes. Water damage to the front board of the sixteenth volume, encroaching on the first few pages. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright, with just a few instances of foxing. Tidemarks to the first and last few pages of the sixth and twenty-fourth volumes. Very Good . Ill.: Various. Very Good .
