Externally, generally smart, there is bumping and some small closed tears to a few of the spines. There is also loss to a spine on one volume, with the backstrip lifting on two volumes. The front hinge has failed to one volume. Internally, all volumes are bright and clean, generally firmly bound. There are bookplates to the front pastedowns bearing the name in Latin Michael Tomkins.
