Illustrated throughout with colour and monochrome plates. A three part catalogue of the sale of the collection curated by Arpad Plesch of the Botanical Library of Lichtenstein. Aprad Plesch was born in Budapest of an Old Hungarian Family who built up the collection of botanical books with a particular reference to medical botany and the botany of Hungary. The library was considered not only magnificent from a bibliographical point of view but also as a working library for a botanical garden. In paper covered boards. Externally, smart with some bumping, rubbing and handling marks. Volume I and II with lifting to the spine. Volume I more heavily rubbed and soiled. Volume III with personal library label to front pastedown. Internally, all volumes firmly bound. Pages clean and bright aside from annotations in the text to volume I. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
