With the First Edition of Volume II (1773) and the 1783 editions of Volumes I and II. With frontispieces to both volumes of the 1783 edition as called for. Volume II of the 1773 edition only has a vignette title page and does not have a frontispiece, as called for. In full calf bindings. Externally, worn, with patches of rubbing to all volumes at the boards and extremities. Spines to all volumes are heavily rubbed. 1773 edition of volume II is lacking front board and rear board is detached but present. Front hinge and joint to volume II of 1783 is weak and may detach with further handling. Rear hinge and joint to volume II (1783) is weak and may detach with further handling. Front hinge and joint to volume I have failed with the board detached but present. Rear hinge and joint to volume I are weak and may detach with further handling. Following the contents pages of all volumes it appears as if two pages have been removed. These pages would have been blanks from the binding and are not missing pages from the text.
