The second and third volumes run from Aanwending to Lytton listing over 20,000 items covering Aristotle to Morgagni and Corvisart. The Wellcome Library is founded on the collection formed by Sir Henry Wellcome, whose personal wealth allowed him to create one of the most ambitious collections of the twentieth century.
