Fullom was awarded the Royal Hanoverian Gold Medal for Art and authored several other books including "The Man of the World" and "The Mystery of the Soul" and "The Life of Sir Howard Douglas". Ink inscription to front pastedown of volume one, dated 13th June, 1865. Complete in three volumes. First edition. In half calf bindings with cloth covered boards. Externally, sound with some rubbing to the extremities. Cloth is lifting from the front board of volume two and beginning to lift from volume one. Boards detached but present from volumes one and three. Hinges of volume two are strained. Internally, generally firmly bound with some pages working loose here and there, most prominently in volume three. Pages are bright and clean with just some handling marks. Closed tears to some pages. Page 159 of volume one has been torn in half. Pages 1 and 2 are absent from volume two. Library labels to front free endpapers of volumes one and three and front pastedown of volume two. Ink and coloured pencil annotations to front pastedowns of all volumes. Fair . Ill.: None. Fair .
