Utilising a stream of consciousness style, the book deals with the construction of a spire and its creator Dean Jocelin. As well as its style of writing, the novel is notable for its increasingly fallible narrator. In cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally very smart, with only very light sheflwear. The dustwrapper has some very light markings and some rubbing. There is a small closed tear which has been repaired to front wrap.
