With the prize book plate to the front paste down, awarded to L. E. Randall from Merchant Taylors' School. Fraser's military work, explores famous fighters in the Navy. In a prize calf binding with gilt design detailing to front board, gilt title and design to the spine, and a mottled fore-edge. Externally, very smart with some shelfwear; a little bumping and rubbing to the extremities, and a few marks. There is a blindstamped ex libris to the second endpaper dated 1962, and a paper bookplate to the front pastedown, awarded to L. E. Randall from Merchant Taylors' School.
