Beautifully illustrated, with an extensive glossary of the local dialect. "With Observations upon the Names of Places, and a Glossary of Words Used in the County of Salop." Featuring a chromolithographed title page, decorative head and tail pieces, illuminated capitals and eight further plates. In contemporary calf binding with gilt design to the front board and spine. Externally, a trifle rubbed with slight wear to the extremities, and minor loss to the spine label. Both hinges are very slightly strained. Internally, firmly bound and extremely bright.
