Edited by romantic poet and journalist William Cullen Bryant, also known as the editor for the New York Evening Post. This text is thought to have had a profound influence of the growth of tourism and the historic preservation movement in the United States. In full morocco bindings with gilt stamping to the boards and spines. Externally, smart with rubbing to the extremities, joints and spines. Internally, firmly bound.
