Description: London, James Nichol, 1863 . Leather. A full leather bound volume, with gilt detailing to the spine. This volume contains information regarding the lives of Oliver Goldsmith, William Collins and Thomas Warton, in addition to their poetical works. There is wear to the extremities, including fading to the top of the boards and spine, plus cracking and rubbing to the spine and a couple of minor scratches to the boards. There is a small split to the bottom of the spine. The hinges are strained but holding well. There is a dedication page written in ink, attached to the front blank-end paper. The binding is tight and firm with both covers and all internal pages securely attached. Internally the pages are generally clean and bright, apart from some mild brown spots to a few pages, in particular toward's the front and rear of the book. Very Good . Ill.: None. Very Good .
