Heavier rubbing to the head and tail of spine. Light lines of rubbing to the spine. Front hinge is slightly strained but firm. Frontispiece and title page are loosening and may detach with further handling. Internally, firmly bound. Dark tidemark to the top corner of frontispiece and title page, affecting the corner of first few pages. Endpapers are soiled with many marks and spots. Worming to the front pastedown and to the recto of front endpaper. Prior owners' inscriptions to the recto of front endpaper and to title page. Pages are age toned, particularly to the edges.
