This work chronicles the kings of England dating back to the legendary king Brutus and continues on to Charles I. The work also chronicles certain prophecies told by Merlin with an explanation to the interpretations. In a half calf binding with paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart with rubbing to the paper covered boards. Bumping to the extremities. Light rubbing to the spine. Small loss to the head of spine. Cracks to the joints. Tape repairs to the head and tail of joints and spine. Joints and hinges are weak with front board held by the tape repairs only. May detach with further handling. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto of front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Prior owner's notations to the first page. Pages are slightly age toned to edges with the odd spots throughout.
