The front board is detached but present, having the title page attached to this also, the rear joint starting. Internally, firmly bound throughout, aside from the front endpapers, including the frontispiece, being missing. Remarkably bright and clean for the age of this book, with a few scattered spots, predominantly to the backs of the plates, and the odd tidemark. There are small closed tears to the title, which is in a delicate position attached to the loose front board. Copperplate ink inscription to front pastedown. Well worth the binding cost and can fetch up to £1500 thus repaired. Overall: GOOD ONLY due to detached board and missing frontis. Good Only . Ill.: None. Good Only .
