She married the Duke in 1707, even though he was already married. Gravenitz was also politically active, from 1717 to 1731 she was a full member of the secret government cabinet. In a beautiful half crushed morocco binding signed by Hatchards of Piccadilly. Written by Marie Hay, an author of a number of historical novels including Dianne de Poytiers and An Unrequited Loyalty.
