All monographs have been translated into English from the original language. The New Sydenham Society are names after English physician and pioneer Thomas Sydenham. His 'Observationes Medicae' became a standard textbook of medicine for two centuries. In original brown cloth binding. Externally, sound with slight rubbing to the head and tail of spine. Loss to the head and tail of spine due to rubbing. Crack to head of rear joint. Front hinge is slightly strained but firm. Internally, firmly bound.
