This text details Mytton's love of hunting, shooting, driving, and racing, whilst also detailing his eccentric and extravagant exploits that earned him the title 'Mad Jack&apos. This text was written by Charles James Apperley, noteworthy for his hugely popular sports writing under the pseudonym of "Nimrod". Collated, complete with eighteen very attractive colour plates. In recased cloth binding with gilt detailing. Externally very smart. Minor shelfwear and rubbing only. Internally, the binding is strengthened in many areas, with minor strain in others.
