Following her death these thoughts on her religious experience have been compiled into this work. The preface states of Diplock's character that she had 'unassuming manners - her sterling piety - her attachment to the truths and ordinances of God&apos. It was following her parents' wishes that a portion of her memorandums were published 'hoping they might be of service to the juvenile members of the congregation, and the many relatives she was connected with.' A very scarce work, with only one copy on Copac held at the British library. In a tooled cloth binding with gilt stamped label to front board. Externally, smart with small patches of rubbing to the joints and extremities. Minor bumping and light rubbing to the head and tail of spine. A few light marks to boards. Front hinge is slightly strained but firm. Prior owner's inscription dated 1841 to the recto of front free endpaper. Internally, binding is tender. Gatherings may loosen with further handling. Pages are slightly age toned to edges with occasional light spots. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
