Robert Anderson (1770Â1833), was an English labouring class poet from Carlisle. He was best known for his ballad-style poems in Cumbrian dialect. In a green cloth binding with gilt title detailing to front board and spine. Externally, very smart with a little rubbing to spine, and bumping to extremities. There is also some fading to the spine, and a few handling marks. Internally, the binding is slightly strained in places. The pages are clean with only a little age toning and discolouration to the pastedowns and free endpapers, and there is a personal ink stamp to the front free endpaper Very Good . Ill.: None.
