With the armorial bookplate of Norman Dakeyne Newall to the front pastedown. Bound by Westleys & Clark, with a bookbinder label to the rear pastedown. James Gregor Grant, d.1875, was a poet, dramatist, novelist, and critic. He resided in Sunderland for the majority of his life. In a cloth binding. Externally, a little bumping, with a few marks. The front joint is starting. The front hinge is very slightly strained. Internally, firmly bound, with occasional handling marks or spots, and marginal light tidemarks from page 130 to the rear.
