The titles of the poems are as follows: Torture, A Pastime; The Great Unlearned; The Recruiting Sergeant and Jack the Ploughman; The Little Gambler, and What Became of Him; After the Doctor; Religion's Mountebanks; The School Board "Officer" and the Widow; The Distributors (?) of the Peabody Funds and The Beggar's Christmas Carol. In original cloth binding. Externally, sound bout with some wear to extremities, marginal fading and handling marks. Internally, generally firmly bound but with front free endpaper detached.
