Notable works include The Forsyte Saga (1906—1921) and its sequels, A Modern Comedy and End of the Chapter. He won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1932. Illustrated with eight plates throughout. In a full cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine, and also to the extremities. Fading to the spine. Small biro mark to the front board, with handling marks tp the front and rear boards. Spotting to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound.
