Held in a fine slipcase and a brodart wrap. In the original brown cloth with gilt stamped pictorial boards. Douglas William Jerrold was an English dramatist and writer. 'The Story of a Feather' came at the height of his career. Jerrold wrote many articles for Punch Magazine, the office of which published this work. In original pictorial cloth binding and preserved in brodart and a modern slipcase. Externally, smart. Minor bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. A small amount of rubbing to the head and tail of spine. Spine has faded slightly. Brodart and slipcase are excellent with minor shelfwear. Both hinges are slightly strained but firm. Prior owner's signature to the recto of front endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound though strained in places. Pages are generally bright with light scattered spots throughout. Very Good .
