Written shortly before the Spanish-American War and the Cuban War of Independance, this book 'makes known the present state and position of the country as a field for British Enterprise' during the time. Includes a fold-out map of Mexico. In a silver gilt cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Boards are lightly rubbed in places and to the top and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with some light spotting. The map has one small repair and some marks to the front pastedown and free-endpaper. Very Good . Ill.: None. Very Good .
