Edited from the original Manuscript with Introduction and Notes, by the Rev. Walter Macleod. There is a portrait of the Hon. John Erskine opposite the title-page with a tissue guard. In original blue cloth binding with gilt lettering on spine and gilt decoration on front board. Externally, generally smart. Boards are lightly rubbed in places. There is some damage to the top and the tail of the spine and a closed tear across the joint. Corners are a little worn. Front hinge is a little tender. There is a bookplate to the front pastedown.
