Francis Marion Crawford (August 2, 1854 – April 9, 1909) was an American writer noted for his many novels, especially those set in Italy, and for his classic weird and fantastic stories. In half-calf bindings with gilt dentelles to the spines and animal print boards. Externally, smart, with just some sunning to the spines and slight rubbing. One hinge strained. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright, and generally clean, with just a few scattered instances of foxing (more prominent to the endpapers). Very Good Indeed . Ill.: None. Very Good Indeed .
