Complete in one volume. With an engraving to frontispiece, a two colour decorative title and decorative pieces and capitals throughout. A great Latin and French Dictionary complied by the order of the most gracious Christian King. With a dedication, preface and list of Latin authors who are cited in the dictionary all in French to front. Previous owner's ink inscriptions to recto of frontispiece and preface. In a contemporary leather binding. Externally, generally sound but with some wear to extremities, evidence of past worming, rubbing and marks to boards. One spine label absent, loss to other. Hinges strained. Internally, generally firmly bound although strained in places. Bright but with occasional scattered spots and handling marks.
